Founded in 2000, the Quality Brands Protection Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (QBPC) is subordinate to the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI) under the Ministry of Commerce. QBPC is currently comprised of more than 200 members, most of which are well-known foreign invested companies.
As a member-driven industry organization focusing on improving the IPR policy, legal framework and enforcement environment in China, QBPC has been actively hosting and co-organizing various seminars, forums, and training workshops, timely providing constructive opinions and suggestions to the legislative bodies such as the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Ministry of Justice (Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council before 2018) as well as judiciary and law enforcement agencies. Through the approach, QBPC has been jointly promoting the efficiency and predictability of IPR protection, and proactively building a bridge for exchanges between China and the international community.
