Sally Yeh is a passionate go-getter producer that serves as a bridge between Hollywood and China in story development and film producing, with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry.

Sally began in film as a Producer’s Assistant on IMAX’s THE LADY AND THE PANDA, starring Maria Bello, Xander Berkeley and Xia Yu; and Line Producer on Warner Brothers’ Bollywood action comedy, CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA, starring Akshay Kumar (PAD MAN) and Deepika Padukone (XXX: RETURN OF XANDER CAGE). She is producing a Renny Harlin film with Spring Era Culture, the company that produced WOLF WARRIOR 2, the highest grossed film in China. She has a production company, Girl Power Media, where she and her partner Chris Yen are developing a female comedy. An avid story editor and script doctor, Sally reads many screenplays and enjoys working with storytellers across the globe.



Prior to film, Sally’s vast array of experiences includes: Author, Radio and TV Personality, Program Director, Producer in Radio and Television, Concert and Events Promoter, Actor, MTV’s Most Wanted VJ, and Talent & Artists Relations Manager. She interviewed many artists, including Jerry Bruckheimer, Jon Bon Jovi, Vanessa Williams, Steve Buscemi, David Foster, Sandy Lam, Andy Lau, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Bjork and Duran Duran.

Kate Tuo Wang (Writer-Director)

Tuo Wang (Kate) is a New York University trained writer-director. She is also the first woman from mainland China to be admitted into the prestigious doctoral program of the Tisch School of the Arts. She has published a book on acting theory in the US. Currently based in Beijing, she is one of a handful of bilingual writer-directors working in China.



She has several projects in development with leading Chinese producers and directors. Her latest project, on which she worked as a cowriter alongside with Academy Awards nominated writer Wang Huiling, is in postproduction and will be in the cinema in 2020. Right now she is working on her own feature drama, which is going to be her feature directorial debut.

Shailene Xiaoting Huo, former Director of Productions at Twentieth Century Fox in China. Shailene joined Fox after two years as Director of International Business at Desen International Media Group, a Chinese film production and distribution company. Prior to joining Desen, she worked for renowned film director Chen Kaige on script development and film production. Shailene has double bachelor’s degrees from Peking University and Master’s degree from Yale.

Jello Dan’s journey in to the world of acting began at The Victory Theatre, Ivana Chubbuck Studio and New York Film academy. After a decade of training and involvement in numerous plays, musicals and films, Jello Dan began The Place studio acting workshop. Her aim was to create a creative hub of exchange and innovation for actors and film makers as a family.

Through her platform she has taught Meisner Acting Workshops in notable institutions such as the Shanghai Vancouver Film Academy (2017-2018). She has worked as an associate with Mr. Roger Brewitt at European Film Bonds (2015-2017). Jello Dan was also a producer on the Norwegian-China coproduction film “Sunshine” and a comedy “Chollywood”. She is a film critic on podcast 美理讲三分 Mei Li Jiang San Fen, 聚众抬杠 Ju Zhong Tai Gang and a guest speaker on Tonight in SLT.

She also hosts her own film Seminars The Avant-gardes which brings film makers and artists to share their expertise and career experiences both in Hollywood and China. The Place Studio holds Meisner-based acting workshop for both actors and individuals who aspire to be more and understand the true value of self discovery.
