Post-Conference Tour

IAIC Post Conference Tour takes you to wonderfull Finnish Lapland and to Santa's village where you can jump over the Arctic Circle and meet reindeers. In Santa's village you will have plenty of souvenir shopping opportunities and you will even be able to pop into Santa's post office! During the tour, you will visit the amazing Arktikum and all-year-round-open "Snow Castle". On this exotic trip you will experience the beauty of Lapland.

Restaurant Kotahovi


The Lapland Restaurant Kotahovi is a Lappish-style restaurant run by the Körkkö family, located in the Santa Claus Reindeer resort at the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland. The restaurant gets its name from kota which is the Finnish name for a Lappish hut.


Arktikum Science Museum


Arktikum is a science centre and museum that lets you experience northern nature, culture, and history up close. Housing the University of Lapland's Arctic Centre and the Regional Museum of Lapland, we stimulate thought, encourage debate, and provide a deeper understanding of the Arctic.

Visit the SnowExperience365 and experience the snow&ice every day of the year. IceRestaurant365 with an ice bar, walls and tables all made of only ice! Slide down from the fairytale ice slide and admire the beautiful sculptures made of ice. Warm clothes are provided.
