The Impact of Climate Change on Agriculture 

Nowadays, climate change has become a serious issue which deeply influences human life. And the agriculture is one of the industries that is vulnerable to climate variability.


The changing climate and the frequently extreme weather events such as heat waves and heavy rainfall could impact the production of foods and agri-business. Therefore, it is an important task for agriculture industry to explore the strategies to against the threats of climate change.


This session aims at discussing the influences on Agriculture that are caused by the global warming and changing climate, and exchanging the possible solutions and strategies. 

Call for Industry Session

DOCUMENTS SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Extend until June 15, 2019


In order to encourage industry participation and collaboration between the academic and industry, IAIC presents the Industry Session for sharing the "real-life" experiences by industry participants and field operators. By focusing on the more practical side of relevant knowledge and technologies, this Session offers a unique opportunity for exchanging ideas and networking amongst operators and researchers from the industry, academia and government sectors.


Scope


All and any practical solutions to in-the-field problems are welcome.


How to participate IAIC Industry Session

  1. Must register through our registration system.  
  2. Document MUST be submitted online by June 15th, 2019; The document include company introduction (300-500 words) with company's name, presenter's email address, and the topic or products you would like to talk about during your presentation. 
  3. At least one presenter for each presentation must have the industry/company affiliation.
  4. Presenters are required to prepare material for oral presentation as follows; PPT. format (more than 4 slides/not full paper)
  5. At least one participant of each company must register as the author and complete the payment by June 15th, 2019. The other participants from the same company can register as the audience or accompany if they would to join the lunch and dinner during the conference. 
  6. Please prepare a 15-20 mins oral presentation in English.
  7. We welcome you to bring the flyer, brochure or products that you would like to display to the conference. We will prepare one table for each company.
