EQME Emotional Quotient Made Easy

The startup was founded at the beginning of 2019 by Paula Mueller and emerged from an idea that took shape in her head back in 2017, when she was sharing the story of Jenny with a couple of friends. Jenny was an intern that applied for an open position and was not able to impress the interviewers even though she possessed all the right skills and followed everything by the books.

An extensive research and discussions with top executives quickly revealed that emotional quotient (EQ) targeted trainings were rather reserved to more senior levels of leadership.

At EQME we have decided to challenge the status quo and be different, since we believe that every young person should have the skills, confidence and opportunity to enjoy a rewarding future. EQ is not a mystical connotation, yet when understood and applied correctly it can create magic in different aspects of life. Young individuals in China already face an incredible amount of pressure, given the fierce competition, therefore we aimed at minimizing this.

Our organization focuses on preparing this generation for their upcoming challenges by providing the right tools to achieve a higher level of emotional intelligence and navigate in a global business environment. We have created application-based, high-impact programs especially designed to support them.
Our programs consist of three different levels focusing on the main pillars of emotional intelligence such as Self Awareness, Self Management and Social Awareness and Interaction. Theses are divided into smaller blocks over the duration of four weeks where students can experience first hand the impact a strong EQ has on people and communities.
