Today its impossible to imagine mutual trade without e-commerce. Consumers worldwide will spend nearly $3.5 trillion online in 2019, up from $2.93 trillion in 2018. The 18% year-over-year growth primarily driven by the record $2 trillion mark China expected to spend in online retail, covering over half of all e-commerce sales globally.
The SCO countries have a historic chance to develop its interconnectivity through constructive partnership that the SCO member states share, using the advantages provided by geographic proximity and mutually complementary economies. In this regard, it seems necessary to establish a program of SCO cooperation on the development of digital trade, based on the achievements of SCO driving forces such as China, India and Russia. Against this backdrop, "AGORA: SCOLAR Vision" is a first step to gather young industry players, experts and business owners to share their rich knowledge on the subject of during a half day conference.

Subject of this year's discussion is "Digital economy and e-commerce: challenges and opportunities in the SCO region". The half-day Conference will be held in the SCO Secretariat in Beijing and will feature H.E. Vladimir Norov - Secretary General of the SCO, representative of Chinas Ministry of Commerce and leading global e-commerce enterprises such as Alibaba, JD, Xiaomi and others. The conference will feature three panel sessions:
