Ella Liu is the Vice President of Yingchuang Building Technique(Shanghai) Co., Ltd, the world’s first high-tech enterprise which truly achieves and commercialize 3D-printing architecture. After Ella joined WINSUN in 2014, she successfully built up the overseas division and led the business development in The Middle East, South Africa, Australia, and America. Ella’s planning and organization has allowed WINSUN to hold seven global press conferences and showcase their advanced 3D printing construction technology to the world. Most importantly, Ella orchestrated to sign the first overseas contract with Dubai government officials, allowing WINSUN to build the world’s first 3D printed offices for the Dubai Future Foundation. After the official opening, Dubai launched the “Dubai 3D Printing Strategy” and Dubai Municipality announced regulations that by 2025, every new building in Dubai will be required to be 25% 3D printed.

Ella graduated from Xi’an Foreign Language University with a bachelor’s degree majoring in Japanese Tourism and obtained her MBA at the University of Hong Kong.

Dipl.-Ing. Richard Schmude has graduated from the University of Kaiserslautern (Germany) as civil engineer, and has been in the construction sector in both China and Germany since 2003. He has witnessed, and contributed to, the rapid development of China during that time, by designing and building industrial production facilities in many cities throughout the country. He is now responsible for the Asia activities of Drees & Sommer, the largest German-based project management and engineering consultancy firm. His believe is that digitalization will be the key for solving many of the challenges ahead of us, and that it should be used to push forward the common goals of circularity and sustainability.

Hao Dong is co-founder and partner of Crossboundaries, established in 2005 in Beijing. He graduated from architecture in China and the United States. After studying and working in New York for almost 5 years, he returned to China in 2002.
His interests center around bridging architecture and education by extending the creative thinking outside the traditional realm of the design practice. Through design events, workshops, curation and teaching, Crossboundaries aims to open many dialogues, both within and outside the profession with a goal of finding better and more future oriented solutions as well as asking better questions that design should be able to respond to.

Ding Feng studied as an urban planner and landscape architect in Tongji University, BA , MA, Ph.D. Now she is Chief Urban planner of National Research Center of Historic Cities of Tongji University .

From being Ph.D candidate, she began focusing on built heritage conservation , having led many conservation planning of historic cities and towns in china, like SongPan Historic City in SiChuan, National Historic City of Chong Wu in Fujian, Cang Cheng historic town in Shanghai, Qu Zhou historic city in Zhejiang, national historic city Xin jiang in Shan Xi, ect. She loves Chinese traditional garden, doing efforts on preserving and studying old gardens, written a book < Chinese Privet Garden of Southern Yangzi River > with Prof. Ruan Yisan, for the moment working on a research project of new gardens in Suzhou and Yangzhou .

Besides her professional experience as urban planner and landscape architecture, she also worked as secretary-general in Ruan Yisan Heritage Foundation since 2006. She had organized the investigation of Grand Cannel (2006-2008), the Youth Voluntary Conservation Work Camp with REMPART from 2010 till now , the Sino-UK Forum on Historic Towns in ZhouZhuang in 2012, the Exhibition Tour of Chinese Urban Heritage Conservation in Europe in 2009, 2010 and 2015. Recent year, she initiate two projects , one is for protecting the wall painting in Shan Xi and the other is link contemporary art with built heritage through residency artists.

Prior to joining the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation in March 2003, Matthias Schäfer worked at the ministries of finance of the state of Berlin and Baden-Württemberg in the department of budget control and taxation. Before, he was junior consulter at Public Sector of Kienbaum Consulting in Düsseldorf (Germany) and junior auditor at Coopers & Lybrand in Frankfurt (Germany). Before becoming Chief Representative in China Shanghai, Matthias Schäfer was head of the team Economic Policy in the Think Tank department Politics and Consulting of Konrad Adenauer-Foundation in Berlin.

Regional Manager Neighboring Provinces at German Chamber of Commerce in China | Shanghai

Navin Hossain is the Regional Manager for the provinces Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Zhejiang at the German Chamber of Commerce in China | Shanghai. He is the primary contact person for the German Chamber members in the aforementioned provinces in East China. Furthermore, Navin is organizing events and is overall steering the strategic development of the Chamber’s engagement in these provinces. He holds a degree in Economics and Economic History from the University of Göttingen.

As co-founder of Business Ecology magazine, Sun Haiyan launched China’s first magazine which focuses on sustainability and green business in 2011. She has nearly 20 years of working experiences in China’s business media, such as Asian Business Leaders and 21st Century Business Review. She focuses mainly on the area of innovation, sustainability, and regional report.

In 2010, she published the book of The Age of Green Gold, together with co-author, Sun Yang. In 2016, she was invited by the French Foreign Ministry as a guest speaker to attend the COP21 UN Climate Change Conference Sino-French Sustainable Cities Forum.

As a senior facilitator, she contributed a lot in many sustainable-business-related workshops in recent years and worked with well-known brands and organizations. In addition, she initiated Business Ecology’s workshop brand “S+ Workshop” to empower different stakeholders related to the topics like inclusiveness, social innovation, circular economy, Eco-fashion, etc. And she is also dedicated to a peers-advisory-group of Female &Freedom during her non-work time.
