SUSTAINABLE CITY DEVELOPMENT
The world is becoming increasingly urbanized. The United Nations Development Program projects that by 2050, two-thirds of all humanity will be living in urban dwellings. That's 6.5 billion people worldwide living in urban areas! We cannot achieve sustainable development without significantly transforming the way we build and manage urban spaces.
What makes a city sustainable? How can urban planning and management be improved while creating safe and affordable housing to build resilient societies and economies worldwide? Which challenges will we have to face in the future and which new methods and models can be used to overcome these?
A morning of engaging talks by industry-leaders will shine a light on different aspects of a sustainable city. As a highlight, we will be guided through the exhibit park of Winsun, one of the most advanced factories in 3D printing.
We are calling all industry peers and anyone keen to know where we are headed in terms of construction and city design in the future to join!
We look forward to meeting you all promptly at 8 am at "Kaixuan Road," the final bus terminal of line 519 and line 96. The meeting point is located near the subway station Zhongshan Park Exit 3.
