Key Topics: HR Consideration in Business Relocation and Recruiting and retaining Haigui (People returned to the home country after finishing overseas study)
Recently, an increasing number of foreign invested enterprises (FIEs) in China choose to relocate their business from first-tier cities which are generally subject to high operating expenses, strict regulations and fierce competition, to smaller cities with lower labor costs, tax incentives and less-saturated markets.
In the process of these business relocation, HR management is one of the most important and challenging parts that will determine the success of the relocation from both the cost-saving perspective and the internal operation perspective.
In our first speech, David Niu from Dezan Shira & Associates will introduce the different HR strategies that can be applied in the process of business relocation. David will compare the labor cost of different provinces in China and introduce some key HR related factors that will affect the relocation location selection. Then, he will introduce different employment settlement options and alert on the legal risks of these options.
After a 30-minutes coffee break, Mr. Matthias Koesling from SinoJobs will discuss with participants why it is so easy to spend money on Recruiting Tours and Recruiting Events in Europe and the US while it is so hard to keep an employee longer than a summer?
According to a recent study, employers at average are able to keep Haigui in their company for 7 months when they recruit talents abroad. Based on SinoJobs' experience and recent studies, Mr. Koesling will try to analyze the reasons behind these phenomena and suggest potential solutions.
Join this Roundtable for an informative experience exchange and discussions with other mechanical engineering companies!
Note: The event enquires minimum 8 people. If the minimum number is not reached one week prior to the session, the roundtable will be rescheduled or cancelled.
