Workshop 1: DISABILITY AWARENESS WORKSHOP - Host: Inclusion Factory (Marina Kalnitski, Rui Wang) - Developed in Ireland in the early 1990s, DET is now used by many UN agencies, MNCs, INGOs and others throughout the world. This workshop will show approaches to change attitudes and practices towards the greater inclusion of people with disabilities in employment. - Workshop 2: GERMAN-CHINESE INITIATIVE FOR SUSTAINABLE VALUE CHAINS - Host: econsense (Jana Heinze, Nadine Hoenighaus) - Co-Host and Supporter: DEG Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH (Karsten Hendricks), Systain Consulting GmbH (Zoye Chen, Wednesday Cui, Hubertus Drinkuth) - DEG supports the new German-Chinese Initiative for Sustainable Value Chains. econsense and Systain will introduce the initiative in this interactive top-level workshop. The participants will get a hands-on insight on the sustainability platform with continuous training for suppliers. - Workshop 3: HOW TO TELL GOOD NEWS AND ATTRACT ATTENTION FOR YOUR CSR PROJECT - Host: Storymaker (Stefan Justl), Unicepta (Evelyn Engesser) - Is the public still listening to CSR stories, or is good news becoming boring? This workshop will present trends in media coverage, discuss communication strategies, and show how to spark your target groups’ interest. - Panel Discussion 4: COOPERATION WITH NGOs - HOW TO MAKE IT WORK - Moderator: Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (Tim Wenniges) - Speaker: Pfrang Association (Julia Guesten), Legal Center for NGO (William Lu), Kick-Off Football Project (Stefan Ahrens), Bayer (Celina Chew), Jin Fang (CDRF) Different NGOs and social initiatives share their experience of cooperating with companies for CSR activities. Learn from their examples and meet potential cooperation partners for your future projects.

But their role for Chinese society goes far beyond introducing new technology, creating jobs and paying taxes.
