Kunshan German Industrial Park (GIP)
Kunshan German Industrial Park is a significant platform for European and American investors in the Yangtze River Delta Region. PEDZ
The city of Pinghu locates in the center of Yangtze Delta. Itโs in northeast of Zhejiang, and also a neighboring city of Shanghai. Pinghu Economic-Technological Development Zone (PEDZ) was established in 1996 and upgraded to a National-level Development Zone in 2013. PEDZ, with a planned area of 65 kmยฒ, has attracted more than 1000 enterprises, more than 300 of which are foreign direct investments, mainly mechanical manufacturing industries and bio-tech (food) industries. PEDZ has established the European (German) Industrial Park with an area of 2.4 kmยฒ since 2015, which has become an important part of the Sino-German SME Cooperation Zone in Zhejiang Province since 2017. Taicang Invest
Taicang is a satellite city of Shanghai with an area of 810 km2 and a population about 1 million. It takes only 26 minutes to take the Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Railway from Taicang to Shanghai-Hongqiao. In 2020, Taicang ranked 6th among Chinaโs Top 100 county-level cities in terms of comprehensive strength. Taicangโs cooperation with Germany began in 1993, when the first German company Kern-Liebers settled. Xishan Economic and Technological Development Zone (XETDZ) was launched in 1992 and upgraded to the state level Economic and Technological Development Zone in 2011. It is the east gate of Wuxi, and which is the closest industry park to Wuxi CBD. XETDZ covers an area of 125 sq km, and consists of 3 parks, the West Industrial Park, new East Industrial Park and the East Wuxi City CBD with Wuxi East Station of Beijing to Shanghai Express Railway.
