Thomas Triller, Deputy Consul General and Head of Economic Affairs Division of the German Consulate General in Shanghai

Born and studies in Bonn, Degree in foreign affairs/public administration; after joining the German Foreign Office he served in Dakar (Cultural Attaché), Tokyo (Political Counsellor, domestic policy), Washington (Science Attaché covering climate change, environment and space policies), Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Deputy Consul General, economy and press) and Ankara (Political Officer with focus on Human Rights and Humanitarian/Refugee Affairs).

Before moving to Shanghai in August 2019 he covered H.R. planning issues at the Foreign Office in Berlin.

Jörg Wuttke is Chief Representative of BASF China, based in Beijing.
Wuttke is President of the EU Chamber of Commerce in China – an office he already held from 2007 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2017.
Wuttke is a member of the Advisory Board of the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS) in Berlin. He contributes regularly to the Swiss financial blog https://themarket.ch/.
Wuttke has lived in Beijing for more than three decades.

Mr. Qingwei Xu, Senior Vice General Manager of Sany Group, General Manager of International Headquarters, mainly responsible for the internationalization of Sany Group.

Mr. Ye Chun, Doctor of Engineering, Postdoctoral in Management, Senior Engineer, Distinguished Professor, Vice Director of the Planning and Development Department of the c. He was worked in the energy and electric power regulatory departments of China's National Development and Reform Commission, and engaged in the research, formulation and practice of national energy development strategies, plans, policies, and regulations for a long time.

Prof. Li Zhiqing is Ph.D in Economics and associate professor in environmental economics and green finance at School of Economics at Fudan University. He works as Executive Director of Center for Environmental Economic Studies, Fudan University. Professor Li once worked at Yale University in USA and worked at Gottingen University in Germany both as visiting scholar. Professor Li’s research focuses on environmental economics and green finance. He is also playing an active role in developing the environmental economics theory and practice in China.

With over 19 years of China strategy consulting experience, Franc is Partner of ICP (InterChina Partners). ICP is a well-respected China-focused consulting firm with over 600 strategy projects enrooed in China’s new ecosystems and more than 220 M&A and divestment transactions successfully closed. The company employs 60 people and has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and London. InterChina is member of Clearwater International, one of Europe’s leading investment banking firms. Franc manages and supervises more than 50 projects and is a leading expert in the healthcare and industrial equipment sectors. His focus is on China market entry and expansion strategy, market opportunity assessments, competitive positioning, differentiation strategy, mid-market strategy, localization strategy, and innovation strategy.

With 16 years of experience in automobile filtration, he is proficient at filter development for passenger car, commercial vehicle & industrial applications and a master in product innovation roadmap, following ‘local for local’ approach & digitalization in APAC.
In 2005 right after his graduation from university he joined MANN+HUMMEL Engineering Trainee Program and started his career journey since then. He has many years of overseas working experience at MANN+HUMMEL Headquarters in Germany. After back to MANN+HUMMEL China, he was successively appointed to several key management positions in the company. Now he holds the position of VP & Managing Director China at MANN+HUMMEL.

Renowned for his work on the Industry 4.0，Artificial Intelligence, Data Science Analytics, Michael Hackl, 'founder and CEO of Hackl Technology, is 'a Digital Transformation Expert, author and advocate of Germany Industry 4.0 and Made in China 2025.
With an MBA from Danube University Krems, Mr. Hackl has been trained by leading minds in innovation'-“Impacts of lndustry 4.0 with digital transformation of productions - in particular on the business and production processes."
Michael is known as the ambassador for technology knowledge transfer of Industry 4.0 between Germany, Austria and China. He has been also credited with designing the groundbreaking projects for localgovernments and SMEs in AI,AR,VR,MR etc.
Michael has published several articles on digital transformation, artificial intelligence and ARVR manufacturing solutions on social media. He regularly delivers keynote speeches through high-tech summits of local governments and large Internet companies in China, introducing digital transformation and the cost-effectiveness of AR/VR technology to officials and professionals.
Mr. Hackl was interviewed by local TV stations in China, covering industry 4.0 and how Chinese manufacturers are carrying out digital transformation.

In leading positions in manufacturing operations, sales and services at various German companies like Linde AG, Putzmeister, OTTO FUCHS for many years. Joined CLAAS as COO of Gaomi factory from 2014 to 2020 and has been working as the Managing Director of CLAAS Sales and Service China since 2021.
Management and business experience in sectors like material handling equipment, construction machinery, automotive components and agricultural machinery.
Earned master degree of Mechanical Engineering and doctor degree of Mechanical Engineering in University Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Richard Wang, General Manager of Oerlikon (China) Technology Co., Ltd. From 1994 to 1997 he was Import & Export Specialist at Jiangsu Iron and Steel Group. Since 1997 he works at Oerlikon (China) Technology Co., Ltd., and he has taken various positions, such as International purchaser, Logistics specialist, Commercial Manager, Manager for marketing and service, Director for campus admin. HSE and Vice General Manager.
He is General manager starting from July 2019.

Dr. Jost Wübbeke is a partner at Sinolytics, a consultancy focusing on the nexus of business and policy in China. He is a leading expert on China’s industrial policy, automotive policy, mechanical engineering industry, energy and environment and cyber security. He advises large multi-national companies as well as SMEs on the impacts of policy and regulations on their business and supports building strategies for the Chinese market. Recently, he co-authored a study with VDMA and Swissmem on the mechanical engineering industry and industrial policy in China.
Prior to Sinolytics, Jost Wübbeke worked as head of economy and innovation at the Mercator Institute for China Studies. He has a PhD from FU Berlin on China’s raw materials industry. He graduated in International Relations and China Studies from Free University of Berlin and Bochum and was research fellow at Tsinghua University.

Daniel Berger, 48, started his consulting career after completing his business administration studies in 1999 at EAC International Consulting in Shanghai and has been living in China ever since. Since 2012, he has been a partner - and an expert especially in the automotive, mechanical engineering and industrial goods sectors. His focus is on the development and implementation of growth strategies and M&A projects for European medium-sized companies as well as internationally operating corporate groups. In addition to his regional focus on China, Mr. Berger also advises his clients in North and Southeast Asian growth markets.

PIA Automation Group is a leading supplier of automation technologies worldwide. Mr. Amann started his role at PIA Automtation Amberg (Germany) as a mechanical design engineer, focusing on automation solutions for automotive components, consumer & industrial goods, and medical equipment with fast cycle time requirements. He was then successively appointed to several key management positions in the group company. With over 20 years of rich experience with different roles in automation industry and 6 years of experience in China, he has seen the big potential in the Chinese market and build up PIA China form a small Chinese company with 50 employees to global partner with over 500 employees.
