We've all been told to brush and floss to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. But did you know a number of systemic diseases have been associated with oral health?

Beijing Women's Network (Health Living Series) is excited to partner with King's Dental Clinic to bring to you an event on how your oral health can be an important indicator of overall health concerns. Join us for a session on Tuesday, May 18th (7:00 PM - 8:30 PM) with Dr. Ekaterina Dashchenko to learn how the condition of your mouth has an impact on the quality of your life and possibly your longevity, too.

Come join us for an in-person event at the King's Dental Clinic for face-to-face interaction with Dr. Ekaterina Dashchenko to understand what oral challenges you may be encountering that's negatively impacting your overall health.

Your mouth, an opening for your respiratory and digestive tracts, can serve as an entry point for bacteria to travel to other bodily systems. The inflammation in the mouth allows bacteria to travel to the bloodstream and infect other parts of the body. From diabetes, to HIV/AIDS, many systemic health conditions can be first identified through the mouth. Other diseases linked to oral health include endocarditis, cardiovascular disease, and birth complications.

The event will include a Mix & Mingle session with light refreshments, tour of the King's Dental Clinic, Oral Health presentation, and lucky raffle draw. All attendees will be automatically included in the raffle draw (free dental cleaning) and be given a goodie bag!
