Smart Factory Kunshan
Smart Factory Kunshan is Startup Factory’s new joint venture with Kunshan City Government established in 2017 with15,000 sqm facility. The purpose of the demonstration and integration factory is to create an innovative environment for Industrial Internet of Things / Industry 4.0 from research over demonstration till education. It enables international and Chinese companies to integrate and demonstrate their technology in the field of Industry 4.0 in a real-life production environment. Smart Factory Kunshan envisions to become the biggest Sino-German IIoT / Industry 4.0 platform. The mission is to make IIoT accessible for SMEs and build a maximum diverse ecosystem as connectivity is one of the core tasks in Industry 4.0.

German Industrial Park
昆山德国工业园成立于2005年，由昆山市政府和德国工商总会合作共建，核心区域8平方公里，是国家级中德（昆山）中小企业合作区、国家级中德国际科技合作基地、国家级精密机械特色产业基地、中德经济顾问委员会成员单位。目前，昆山德国工业园已形成精密智造、高端食品、总部贸易三大主导产业。园区内欧美企业总数达到150家，其中德资企业75家，已成为长三角地区欧美企业投资的重要平台。

Founded in 2005, Kunshan German Industrial Park (KSGIP) is cooperatively established by Kunshan Municipal Government and German Industry & Commerce. With a core area of 8 square kilometers, Kunshan German Industrial Park has been certified as Sino-German (Kunshan) SMEs Cooperation Zone, National Level Sino-German International Cooperation Base, National Level Precision Machinery Industry Base and Member of Sino-German Advisory Committee on Economy.
German companies keep agglomerating in Kunshan German Industrial Park. Three leading industries including smart manufacturing, high-end food and headquarters & trade have taken shape. At present, the total number of European and American enterprises in the park is 150, among which 75 are German enterprises. By far, Kunshan German Industrial Park has grown to be a significant platform for European and American investors in the Yangtze River Delta Region.
