On 21 June, 2:00-3:00 pm, AustCham China will hold an online webinar focusing on the ever-growing Chinese economy. Speakers from the Treasury Department at the Australian Embassy in Beijing will provide background regarding China's fast-paced nature.

Why has China grown and developed as it did in the last couple of years? Can this growth be sustained over time?

Which opportunities and risks might unravel in the coming years?

In this event, Rachel Thompson, Minister-Counsellor (Treasury) and Chris Perks, Counsellor (Treasury), will provide insights into the current state of the Chinese economy.

They will also be stepping away from current economic conditions to examine developments that have happened over the past few years and the challenges that might emerge in the future.
