Si is the Head of Strategy, Partnerships and Operations at Tencent Artificial Intelligence Lab, based in Shenzhen, China. Tencent is one of the leading technology companies in the world and Tencent AI Lab is the leading enterprise research lab in China.
Si is responsible for the advancement of fundamental research in the areas of Computer Vision, Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning, as well as the application of AI across Gaming, Content, Agriculture, Energy, and other key industry sectors.
Key projects:
1.Established AI Health industry vertical, initially focused on AI for medical imaging and diagnosis. Today, AI+Health solutions have been launched in >100 hospitals across China
2.Worked with Chief eXploration Officer David Wallerstein to set up AI for FEW (Food, Energy and Water), developing AI solutions to solve global sustainability challenges. Autonomous Greenhouse AIoT solution iGrow is now used to optimise the growing environment, maximising production while minimising resource consumption, achieving 15% productivity improvement
3.Developed the strategic roadmap for Game AI, including AI applications for game design, in-game NPCs and game operations. Over 44 million players participated in the Wukong AI bot challenge, making it one of the most popular gaming modes in Honor of Kings.
4.Managed the Digital Human project team, developing multi-model 2D/3D digital humans, which have now been launched in many industries including education, finance, live streaming, advertising.
Si was raised in Australia and is bilingual in English and Mandarin. She has been a keynote, speaker and panelist in events such as top AI conference CVPR, top gaming conference GDC, Ladies Who Tech, Sydney AI & Machine Learning Summit and various Australia-China technology and innovation events. She is an alumnus of the Asialink Business Leaders program (2016) and Australia China Youth Dialogue (2017).
William joined Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade)/Australian Consulate- General (Hong Kong and Macau) in December 1996, he has been promoting Australian exports and attracting Chinese outbound investments for Australia since; William has undertaken various Austrade industry team leadership roles at post and North East Asia regional level in the past 20 years, he worked in various Austrade key posts including Hong Kong, New York, Beijing and is now in Shenzhen.
Before joining Austrade, William was a consultant for Australian and European large corporate clients on investment and trade projects in both Hong Kong and Mainland China.
William was born in Guangzhou, where he obtained his Architectural Engineering qualification, he then went further study in Australia and successfully completed Bachelor Degree of Business at Monash University in Melbourne. William is a Fellow Member of CPA Australia (FCPA).

Susie graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Economics, and was a former investment banker before joining Huawei to help lead the expansion of the tech giant’s sub-brand Honor in Western Europe and South East Asia. She then headed global marketing and strategy at OnePlus, one of the world’s top premium smartphone brands. Susie is currently Brand Director at Roblox, an online platform that enables millions of users to create, share, and participate in immersive 3D experiences and one of the companies at the forefront of building the metaverse. Susie oversees Roblox’s brand expansion and strategic partnerships in China.
