He invents and develops: new fly-back transformer and driver method for CRT video equipment, a new OS for pre PC microcomputers with Windows like interface and enhanced performance, a PLC CPU and remote I/O modules with distributed intelligence and intrinsic safety, a fully redundant control room system for 12 MW co-generation power plant, a full office solution for SME based on Linux and open source components and applications.
In China he has designed and developed a solution for live handwriting capture and recognition to track the production in the fully manual largest leather sofa factory, troubleshooted the automation of large steel mills and electronics plants securing multi M$ contracts, mentored and supervised SCADA and MES projects in Heathrow airport, steel mils, logistics, electronics and car/motorbike industry from 2000.
During his 20 years of living and working in China, he has lived and worked in many cities and has worked in a variety of industries and applications. He has a wide range of hobbies, such as photographing, cooking, and language learning. In addition to Italian, German, French, and English, he also speaks Chinese and Japanese, and develops strong inter-cultural skills that go well beyond language proficiency.
