With a decade of experience at the World Economic Forum in various roles ranging from leading the regional engagement for Europe and Central Asia, to various projects on the future of the Internet and cyberspace to heading the Technology Industries team, Danil is currently helping to set up the Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in China.
The Centre will partner with governments, leading enterprises and experts from around the world to co-design and pilot innovative new approaches to policy and governance in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In this role, Danil develops relationship with the leaders and executives of the top companies and senior policy-makers/regulators.
An experienced fintech entrepreneur, Henry is the Founder and CEO of Linnovate Partners: a leading next-generation asset service provider for fund administration, portfolio monitoring and entrepreneurial services. Linnovate Partners is leading the technology revolution in alternative asset services, combining cutting-edge technology with the highest calibre business professionals, resulting in a transformative solution for customers. Henry has worked in Europe, the Middle East and other regions, leading multi-party projects in alternative investments for sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors and fund managers. Since founding Linnovate Partners in 2016, the company now administers over USD $35bn of assets, and monitors thousands of portfolios across 40+ clients, including fund managers, institutional investors and investees - streamlining their administration, reporting and monitoring through flexible and responsive solutions. Prior to founding Linnovate Partners, Henry was the Managing Director of one of the world’s leading private equity software solution providers - eFront, based in Hong Kong, and was responsible for the company’s Asian operation of Greater China and South Korea.
Ms. Luo has significant experience assisting multinational companies navigating the rapidly-evolving Chinese cybersecurity and data privacy rules. Her work includes high-stakes compliance advice on strategic issues such as data localization and cross border data transfer, as well as data protection advice in the context of strategic transactions. She also advises leading Chinese technology companies on global data governance issues and on compliance matters in major jurisdictions such as the European Union and the United States.
Ms. Luo regularly contributes to the development of data privacy and cybersecurity rules and standards in China. She chairs Covington’s membership in two working groups of China's National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee (“TC260”), and serves as an expert in China’s standard-setting group for Artificial Intelligence and Ethics.
Ms. Luo is named as Global Data Review’s “40 under 40” in 2018 and is frequently quoted by leading media outlets including the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times.
Brian Tse (谢旻希) has advised some of the world's leading AI labs including Google DeepMind, OpenAI, Baidu and Tsinghua University Institute of AI, as well as think tanks such as Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and Shanghai Institute for Science of Science. He serves as a Senior Advisor at the Partnership on AI, a leading global industry consortium focused on the social impact of AI. At the University of Oxford, Brian's research focuses on international cooperation in AI safety and governance. Prior to his career in AI policy, he worked in financial technology investment banking at J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong and a leading AI hardware startup in Beijing. He was a member of World Economic Forum Global Shapers.
