AustCham China has partnered with its new member PwC China to provide the business community with the latest developments on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).
The PwC ESG event series will be organised in four seminars-style events, where PwC will share its expertise in key sustainability-related topics, relevant to companies across every industry.
The first installment will be held exclusively online on 15 August, 2:00-3:00 pm (BJ time). In this session, PwC will provide insights about Getting to Net Zero: the challenges it presents and the crucial actions that can contribute to more positive outcomes.
Ambitious climate commitments are increasingly being adopted by organisations to meet the challenges and opportunities of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. For many companies this will require whole scale business transformation over the coming years.
Find out about PwC's strategy and journey to reach its 2030 commitment to net zero emissions, including insights on a framework for getting started, considerations for stakeholder engagement and governance, carbon emission reduction examples and communicating progress.
Savills, another valuable Chamber member, will complement the webinar by sharing its experience in the field. Listen to what they have to say about getting your premises to LEED and WELL certification: it's easier than you think.
The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, moderated by AustCham's Director Rob Campbell. Attendees will have the opportunity to get answers to their questions, from PwC's team of experts firsthand.
Members are invited to attend the event free of charge. Non-members are welcome to join as well, purchasing tickets as detailed below.
