On 22 March, AustCham China is hosting an online/offline event with a panel discussion and Q&A centred around the outcomes of the recent National People's Congress (Lianghui).
The topic for discussion is "From the National People's Congress (NPC) Towards the Party Congress: Perspectives from Business" and speakers Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang, PhD Professor - Founder and President of Center for China and Globalization (CCG), Adam Dunnett, Secretary General of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, and Lipei Zhang, Senior Director, Beijing Office, for the US-China Business Council will participate on a panel moderated by John Russell, AustCham China Vice Chair and Managing Director, Sandpiper North Head.
The event will be delivered in a hybrid format with speakers giving their own insights into what was discussed at Lianghui. Additionally, the panelists will share their perspectives on the current business environment and pertinent trends in the China market. This occasion will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and engage with industry leaders.
The event aims to exchange experiences among those already operating in China and serve as counsel for those considering investments in the country. This will set the perfect conditions for those in Australia to gain greater understandings of market trends and opportunities and how these discussions may influence the Australia-China relationship.
