German Chamber of Commerce in China | South and Southwest sincerely invite you to join us for the Online Presentation of the German Chamber's 13th Annual Salary Survey on the 25th of September, 2020.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a global recession and affected jobs and social welfare worldwide. Accordingly, wages in China are affected and HR measures had to be taken to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on business activities.
HR managers frequently ask themselves whether the compensation packages their companies provide match the local market's average, and what salary should they provide based on seniority and region – and even more so with the impact of COVID-19. For the 13th time, the German Chamber of Commerce provides its member companies with the "Labor Market and Salary Report". This year's benchmark publication examines the current developments in China's job market, as well as provides a forecast for 2021.
The presentation will provide an in-depth review of the wage and salary developments of your employees in South China in 2020, current developments on the job market and an outlook on the developments in 2021. The presentation will focus on the following aspects:

Juanjo Cardona is Marketing and Information Solutions Manager at Direct HR Group, where he joined in 2012. He overlooks all marketing related activities and is responsible for developing China talent market insights.
Since 2016 the German Chamber of Commerce in China has been partnering with Direct HR Group for the elaboration of its annual Labor Market & Salary Report. Juanjo has been the Project Manager from Direct HR Group’s side in a coordinated effort with the German Chamber of Commerce in China.
With over 14 years of work experience, Juanjo has previously served as Project Manager and Business Development Manager at STIGA, a leading marketing research firm in Spain, focusing mostly in customer satisfaction and service quality for the financial industry.
