Thomas Lapham is CEO of ACC (Asia Clean Capital). ACC is a leading clean energy solutions developer that serves large multinational and domestic firms throughout China. ACC invests 100 percent of the project costs and provides turnkey solar solutions, owning and maintaining their projects for the long-term. All electricity produced is provided to clients at rates lower than when purchased from the local power grid.
Prior to joining ACC, Thomas cofounded a renewable energy company in the U.S. which he grew to an industry leading position with coast-to-coast locations and eventually sold to one of the UK’s leading renewable energy corporations. Thomas has work experience around the globe and is fluent in English, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese.
Tom is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, having graduated from their OPM Management Program. Tom also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Whitman College in Washington State. He is a Certified Geothermal Installer through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, a member of the YPO network, and has been a featured speaker at the International Monetary Fund, DFI, and the UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
Tom has a passion for sustainability and renewable energy, both personally and professionally. An avid outdoorsman and traveler, Tom is married with two daughters.
