Joe Mazur
Analyst at Trivium China
Joe Mazur has had an unrequited love of research since childhood. Originally from the wilds of Northwest Montana, Joe studied history at Harvard College where spent his time falling into endless Wikipedia holes and browsing the dustiest tomes of the university library. In 2015 he moved to Beijing to pursue a master’s degree at the Yenching Academy of Peking University during which time he honed both his research skills and his China nerd credentials. Joe believes that knowledge is quite literally power and that good research can change lives. Today, Joe puts his particular set of skills to work for Trivium China, a Beijing-based strategic advisory firm specializing in Chinese economic and political developments. He one day hopes to retire to a remote mountainside and write a comprehensive history of the Byzantine church for the general reader.
