In China, CLAAS is mainly represented with two wholly owned subsidiaries, CLAAS Agricultural Machinery Trading (Beijing) Co. Ltd and CLAAS Agricultural Machinery (Shandong) Co. Ltd., responsible for sales and production respectively. CLAAS Shandong was founded in 2014 as a joint venture with the Chinese company Shandong Jinyee Machinery. Since 2017, the company has been fully integrated into the CLAAS group as a wholly foreign owned company, responsible for production of CHUNYU products and some of CLAAS products.

Bucher Hydraulics, founded in 1807, is a Swiss company that offers a comprehensive portfolio of electronic and hydraulic components. In China, Bucher Hydraulics setup a production facility in Wujiang (close to Suzhou) in 1993. To enlarge the market share in China, Bucher Hydraulics furthermore formed a joint venture with the Chinese company Wuxi Deli Hydraulics Co., Ltd. The new company, Bucher Hydraulics (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., was set up in 2018 and is providing hydraulic pumps and power station products to customers worldwide.
