Dear VDMA Member,

The Corona pandemic has challenged us in many ways, one challenge being the switch to a different style of leadership due to travel restrictions, home office and quarantine regulations. Hardly anyone was prepared for this disruption of daily routines with teams and individual employees but had to improvise and adapt rather quickly.

As we are settling into the "new normal", it is time to review and re-evaluate the approaches and measures taken and to consciously decide on what to keep. Certainly, some of the newly established practices shall be kept beyond Corona as they have proven useful and effective. In addition, no matter of how fast the pandemic will be truly overcome in the end, leaders are slowly realizing that the way work will be performed in the future might change significantly.

For the CEO Briefing we have invited experts to shed some light on the challenges that come with remote leadership. They will share best practices and ideas for an optimized performance.
