Simone Casati

Title: SEE THE UNSEEN: From "Your atoms don't actually care about you"

Description:
See the Unseen is one of a more comprehensive collection of drawings titled:“Your Atoms don't actually care about you". Starting from a simple and perfect geometric element such as the circle, the artist wants to explore different arrangements giving life to geometric shapes and natural elements to highlight the fact that our world is an aggregation of the same matter/energies in constant transformation. “See the unseen" wants to emphasize the idea that the space in between or the holes in a non perfect geometry are not a weakness instead a chance of opening a window into a world that is as vast, beautiful, and mysterious as the universe itself.

Bio:
Simone Casati's career path has taken him in many different directions and has helped him grow professionally and personally through experimentation and exploration. Regardless of the type of work he's been involved in throughout his career, he has always tapped into his creativity to help adapt experiences into stories. He’ll throw himself into a project and through focus and dedication, will begin to uncover the fusion of elements – culture, art, poetry, images – that will help to inspire a clear vision and direction. He also applies lessons learned in all aspects of his work to find new ways to express design ideas.

Miguel Emerico (Title: CONTINUUM)

Miguel Emerico

Title: CONTINUUM

Description:
Life is comprised of memories. As each memory begins to take shape, it creates an experience of life that layers itself onto our persona. Just like a piece of torn paper, each memory or life experience is unpredictable in form and texture. And there are gaps between each memory, causing our persona, an coalescence of past and present experiences, to appear like a piece of unfinished work. It is these gaps, the spaces suspended between each memory - below, above and next to each other - that give us room to pause, reflect, and grow into another dimension of our being. The space between our experiences is what ensures our journey, like this piece, will never end.

Title: Open

Instagram: barbara_art_studio

Description:
We are often focused on the views we see through the windows, but what about the windows themselves? A symbolic object that, out of contest, changes its meaning. Let’s reverse the use of the window and try to look inward instead of out. Here starts the journey through my Space in Between.

A window as human mind, blurred glass which makes difficult seeing clearly and understand what is beyond. The blue frame (color often associated with melancholia and sadness) generates a fantastical vision of nature. Everything is in action, floating, dancing, in a frame that can’t contain such imagination in a triumph of colors.

The title, Open, is an invitation to enter a world, alien to us or not, with the hope of better understanding it and to feel the rise of optimism that makes anything possible.

Bio:
Barbara Vaccaro was born in Palermo, Italy, where she studied to earn her Master Degree in Fine Arts. She has worked in different arts environments and roles: from decorator and art teacher to museum assistant and tour guide. Her passion for pre-loved objects translated into collecting the randomly found traces of a past that is quickly disappearing. Thus abandoned furniture and discarded windows are transformed and given a new breathe of life thanks to a new vision aiming to encapsulate time.
