Prior to that, Yi joined S&P as their China Market Development Leader in 2013. On behalf of S&P Capital IQ, Yi’s role is to help understand the China market in depth, develop actionable business strategies, and build stronger relationships with local partners, clients and regulators. Prior to joining S&P Capital IQ, Yi worked at Wind, China’s largest desktop provider, coordinating their partnerships and managing their international department.

Yi holds undergraduate degrees in Korean and Economics from Peking University as well as a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University. She had a book of essays published during college and paid college tuition with it. She writes for various public WeChat accounts and hosts events for MBA associations. She currently serves as Vice President of Harvard Club of Shanghai.

Prior to joining Microsoft Accelerator Shanghai, Mr. Yu led product management of MySQL Database on Azure in R&D in Microsoft China Cloud Innovation Center. He and the team built the product from ground zero and successfully released General Availability in 18 months with average over 20% MoM growth in the following 12 months. Previously Mr. Yu also worked in the Windows server group as a program manager. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Yu was a development manager in WebEx Communications (now part of Cisco Systems) responsible for all manageability solutions for WebEx Online Meeting services.
