Onyeka Akumah is a Nigerian-born entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of Farmcrowdy, Nigeria’s first digital agriculture platform that has impacted over 100,000 farmers and worked directly with over 25,000 farmers across 16 states in Nigeria since launching in November 2016. Onyeka is also the Founder & CEO of Crowdyvest, an Impact-driven platform designed on the background of the 17 SDG Goals, focused on connecting its members to multiple sponsorship opportunities that are safe, secure and trusted.
Prior to Farmcrowdy and Crowdyvest, Onyeka held several top management positions in high-profile organizations like TravelBeta, Jumia, Wakanow, and Konga. He also worked for Deloitte, The British Council and Guaranty Trust Bank.
Onyeka was appointed to the E-Agric Stakeholders Forum by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Nigeria and was also made one of the youngest members of the Honorary Council of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Onyeka was named one of Quartz Africa’s 30 Innovators of 2018 and as one of the 100 most influential Africans of 2019 by Africa Report. He has been recognized with several awards locally and internationally and currently sits on the Board of leading tech start-ups in New York and Lagos.

He is the Pioneer President of NiDO East China, Founder of Afriscaper a market research and consulting firm that provides industry research to venture capital firms looking to invest in Africa. They leverage expertise in data, finance, research and technology to provide insights that aid investment decisions) and Corporate Development Director, KaiOS Technologies, Inc., Contributor to UN Broad Band Project.
