Mr. D’Andrea arrived in China in 2005 and began his career in one of the most important Italian law firm in Nanjing. Since a few years ago Mr. D’Andrea has been leading his own company in Shanghai – D’Andrea&Partners – a boutique law firm that has become a point of reference as well as a well-established entity in the international legal profession. D’Andrea&Partners serves foreign as well as Chinese companies with the ambition to globalize themselves in a worldwide economy while focusing on Asia and Europe.

Mr. D’Andrea, Attorney at law, is fluent in Italian (mother tongue), English, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. He joined the board of the Shanghai Chapter of the European Chamber in 2014 and since May 2017 he is the Chairman of the Shanghai Board.

Dr. Althauser was appointed Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Shanghai in August 2017. She studied Political Science, Slavic Languages and Literature and Sinology in Heidelberg, Taiwan, Moscow and Luxembourg and holds a doctoral degree from Heidelberg University. She joined the Federal Foreign Office in 1985. She was posted to the German Embassy in Beijing from 1987 to 1990, then she worked at the USSR/Russia desk at Federal Foreign Office in Bonn, at the German Embassies in The Hague, Moscow and at the Policy Planning Staff Section at the Federal Ministry of Defence in Berlin. She has also been posted to the Permanent Representations of Germany to the European Union in Brussels and to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, and has served as Head of the Crisis Prevention Division at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. Prior to her assignment in Shanghai, Dr Althauser was Head of the Press Section at the German Embassy in Moscow and Ambassador of Germany in Skopje (Former Yougoslav Republic of Macedonia).

Mr. Chen was born in China, after his school examinations in 2001 he came to Germany for study. After his study as industry engineering (Dipl.) in Krefeld and international management (M.Sc.) in Stuttgart with awards, he worked in different positions and functions at different German leading industry and industry service companies. He joined DESMA in 2014 as head of quality and process management with staff and functional leading responsibilities. DESMA, a part of stock listed Salzgitter AG, is a typical German small- and medium-sized company as a hidden champion in Baden-Württemberg who is a worldwide market leader for rubber and silicon injection technology with around 550 employees worldwide and over 100 million EUR sales. In 2017 Mr. Chen became general manager of DESMA China with 60 Chinese employees, based in Wuxi.

Seong-Kiu Kang is a Partner at Deloitte Consulting’s Shanghai office and is leading the Strategy practice’s digital transformation offerings. He is a native German with Korean roots and has previously worked for Deloitte in Korea and Germany. He has helped NEV start-ups design their entire sales model in China, defined mobility go-to-market strategies for OEMs in China and supported suppliers to specify their autonomous vehicle paths. Seong-Kiu earned a Bachelor’s degree from the European Business School in Germany and a Master’s degree from Seoul National University in Business Administration.

Wang Jun has been engaged in the research and development of railway rolling stock technology, the construction of innovation system and engineering management for a long time. He is the main pioneer and builder of China's high-speed train technology innovation and management. He presided over the research and development of China's first domestic "harmony" high-speed train and the first 350km / h high-speed train with independent intellectual property rights of CRH380A, organized the engineering design and industrialization of CRRC's "Fuxing" series of high-speed trains, created a new paradigm of "technology + industry" dynamic integration of high-speed trains and the management theory of "large system, open source and multi ring", and led the team to realize the anti overtaking of China's high-speed train technology from backward to international leading.

Florian Weihard is an Industry 4.0 Specialist and Chief Technology Officer with long Engineering and General Management experience. He has completed his mechanical engineering studies at OTH Regensburg, Germany in 2009. After starting his carrier as design engineer in the R&D in Germany in the same year, he moved to China in 2010. Over the following years, he set up and managed engineering offices and plants in China, Singapore, USA and Malaysia. Since 2015, he has been focusing on Industry 4.0 and Digitalization Technologies. As CTO, he is now responsible for the Innovation Management and Technology Development in ruhlamat Automation Technologies as well as for the Digitalization Division as GM of ruhlamat Smart Technologies. He is also the Co-initiator and Technology Expert of the Smart Manufacturing Application Sharing Forum as well as Member of the Board of Directors of DUSA European Companies Suzhou Association. He was a selected candidate of Jiangsu High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Introduction Program and won the award of 2018 Jiangsu High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship High Skilled Talent.

Huiming Zhang (Professor at Fudan University)

Zhang Huiming was born in 1956, and got Ph.D Degree in Economics, Fudan University, in 1995. His present position is professor and teaches Political Economics. His main research direction is Socialist Economic Theory, Enterprise Theory and Practice, Industrial Economy and Regional Economy. He has published eight books including ‘The Marxist Interpretation of Financial Crisis’, and ‘The Science and Technology Innovation and the Great-Leap-Forward Development’, seven papers including ‘The Qualitative Research Of Enterprise Value’, and ‘Recognition of the State-Owned Assets Function Positioning’, and completed eleven projects. Till now he has won ten honors and awards in total, including Shanghai Industrial Upgrading, Third Prize of Shanghai Government Decision-Making Consultation, 2010 and Enterprise Technological Progress and Technology Innovation System, Third Prize of Shanghai Government Decision-Making Consultation, 2006.
