Dave Hanssen, graduated from Texas State University with a B.S. in Digital and Photographic Imaging. Before moving to Beijing in 2008 he assisted the amazing celebrity portrait photographer Greg Gorman and commercial photographer Scot Hill, before taking a photographer position in a stock agency shooting commercial and portrait style work. His clients both abroad and in China include Canon, Sony, Dell, HP, HTC, Motorola, Benq, Beijing Kids Magazine, JingKids Magazine, 父母必读 Magazine, Keystone Academy, Harrow Internal School Beijing, MSB, Kerry Hotels and many more. He moved to Beijing in 2008, fell madly in love with the city, the food, and the culture and hasn't looked back since. After his first son was born, he switched his focus from commercial and fashion photography to family and children portraiture, and kids fashion and commercial photography.
