Founded in 2003, REDSTAR has grown from an English only magazine into three popular, bilingual publications: REDSTAR, Qingdao Family, and the Shandong Education Guide. REDSTAR magazine is a city guide for the coastal city of Qingdao which specialises in promoting local events, restaurant reviews, culture and travel articles. Qingdao Family is a bimonthly magazine serving Chinese and foreign families with kid-friendly activities and events, parenting tips and information on medical and dental care, international and private schools, and much more. For parents and educators, the Shandong Education Guide is the number one reference for education in the region.
