[Shanghai] [Automotive Event] Autonomous & Connected Driving in China – The emergence of a new industry

Christoph Weber is leading the AutoForm organization in China, counting all major carmakers as customers. He is the Automotive Working Group Leader at the German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. Christoph is member of CATARC’s World Automotive Industrial Research Committee and founding member of the International Coalition of Intelligent Manufacturing to promote international best practices in China and beyond. He is frequently invited to speak in automotive conferences.

Sebastian Frey has worked in the IT/Automotive industry for over 20 years with touch points to IoT, digitalization, UAM, and Industry 4.0. He has been living in China for 12 years, where he learnt the importance of maintaining the integrity and reliability German’s are known for with the evolving business acumen in China.

Sebastian Frey has been engaged with German multinational companies such as Mercedes and Bosch. He started a Consulting Company in China as a Managing Partner, which was acquired by ACCENTURE in 2019. Today Sebastian Frey is a Managing Director of SE Consulting.

Since 2015 Sebastian Frey has supported companies in China in Governmental Affairs activities. At the moment he is writing his doctoral degree, "Industrial Policy in China" at Kedge Business School in France. In addition to his work, Sebastian Frey also lectures and works with students for (E)MBA Universities.

Strong engineering professional with a Master's degree focused in Software Engineering from Fudan University.
