Zhang Jun is currently leading technical regulation, standardization and quality management in Siemens Ltd., China. She is responsible for the management, consultation and coordination of standardization, quality management, technical regulation, certification and conformity assessment issues in Siemens China, involving electrical, automation energy, and building and transportation sectors.
Ms. Zhang has an extensive knowledge and expertise in standardization system, certification system and technical market access conditions in China. She has close contacts with SAMR, SAC, CNCA and relevant industry associations, standards development organizations and research institutes. Currently, she assumes as a voting member in several national standardization technical committees (SAC/CT286 on standardization principles and methods, SAC/TC261 on certification and accreditation, SAC/CT25 on electrical safety, national standardization general group for Artificial Intelligence), a member in CCC Expert Group of CNCA and a member in China Energy Labeling Expert Committees. She is serving as national vice-chair of standards and conformity assessment working group of EUCCC.
Prior to joining Siemens in 2011, Zhang Jun worked in Panasonic R&D China, with engagement in technical R&D, strategic analysis of industry and technology, standardization cooperation as well as promotion of foreign consortia technologies in China.
Zhang Jun holds a Master’s from China Academy of Space Technology and a Bachelor’s from Dalian University of Science and Technology, with major in automatic control.
