The China Cup Series is the most prestigious and highest level Australian football competition in China. The 2025 edition of the South China Cup is part of the China Cup Series and is participated by Australian Football clubs from different cities in Southern China, with each team sending out their strongest lineup to compete for the championship.
The South China Cup AFL tournament is a large-scale events founded by AFL China. It is the only AFL sports event in Southern China named "The South China Cup" and exclusively recognized by the Australian Football League which is highlighted in the "AFL International" calendar.
