Sophie Asheton is an engineer and product designer investing in digital platforms for consumer services and products. She has led many of the firms’ investments in industrial software, systems and additive manufacturing, including Desktop Metal, Formlabs, Onshape, Tulip and Upskill. Occasionally, she invests in vertically integrated consumer brands that leverage industrial or operations tech, such as Framebridge, Curalate and Glamsquad.
Prior to joining NEA, Dayna was an investor at North Bridge Venture Partners where she championed companies including Camiant (acquired by Tekelec) and Tapjoy.
As an engineer, Sophie started her career at Eye Response Technologies, a startup spun out of the University of Virginia that commercialized eye gaze tracking technology and was later acquired by Dynavox Mayer-Johnson. As an operator and product designer, Sophie led product design of financial accounting products at Blackbaud (BLKB), the leading global provider of software to nonprofit organizations.
Sophie serves as a Harvard Business School Venture Partner, and is on the investment committee of the University of Virginia’s Seed Fund. She is a founding member of AllRaise, an organization dedicated to increasing the number of female investors and founders, leading the organizations’ east coast initiatives.

Jacob Parker is senior vice president at the US-China Business Council. In this role in Washington he manages USCBC’s China operations as well as the analysis and advocacy work in both countries. Prior to his current position, he held progressively responsible roles in the Council’s Beijing and Shanghai offices. Jacob has worked on a variety of international public and private projects throughout his career. Before joining USCBC, Jacob worked as a program manager at Philips Healthcare where he oversaw implementation of ExIm Bank, Nordic Investment Bank, and Ashra Bank international government loan projects for developing medical infrastructure in China. Prior to that, as the director of operations of the USA Pavilion Shanghai Expo 2010, Jacob was responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and general operation of the pavilion, and for sharing American culture and values with the more than 7 million visitors during the six months of operation.
Anne Forristall Luke was named President and CEO of the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association – formerly the Rubber Manufacturers Association – on November 13, 2015 and officially assumed the helm of the organization on January 1, 2016. Luke has more than 35 years of Washington government relations, public affairs and executive leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. Since joining USTMA, Luke has successfully rebranded and refocused the Association, a 100-year-old organization, to accurately reflect the membership, strategy and vision of the organization representing U.S. tire manufacturers.

A first class chemistry graduate from University of Kerala, India and a Fellow member of the Rubber and Plastic Institute London, Mohamed is a member in the Management Board of Apollo Tyres Ltd, Industrial Advisory board of Centre for tyre research, USA, IRCO and Area Director of American Chemical Society Rubber Division.
Mohamed is a tyre industry veteran with over 49 years of experience. He is the Chairman of Indian Tyre Technical Advisory Committee (ITTAC), Technology Environment Safety and Standard (TESS) group of ATMA (Automotive Tyre Manufacturers association) and past chairman of Indian Rubber Institute. He had also worked in the committees of standard organisation. He has worked with the technology partners of different tyre companies in the world such as Uniroyal USA, General Tire Inc U.S.A; Yokohama Rubber Company Japan and Continental Germany. He is also familiar with the technology practiced by Dunlop South Africa and Vredestein Holland.
Ms. Mary Xu, Bachelor of Rubber Engineering, graduated from Qingdao University of Science & Technology in 1994. From August 1994 to February 2006, she worked in China United Rubber (Group) Corporation and served as Manager of The Advisory Cooperation Department, Manager of Conference & Exhibition Department and Assistant of General Manager. Since January 2007 till now she has been working in China Rubber Industry Association, she successively had the former posts of Director of Information Department and Conference & Exhibition Department, Chairman of Rubber Materials Committee, Deputy Secretary General and Executive Deputy Secretary General. Now she is the Vice President & Secretary General of China Rubber Industry Association.
John Ellis "Jeb" Bush (born February 11, 1953) is an American politician who served as the 43rd Governor of Florida from 1999 to 2007. Deng graduated from Sichuan University in 1982, where she gained a bachelor's degree. From 1982 to 1998, Deng worked as the senior staff of Rubber Division of China's Ministry of Chemical Industry, and Deputy Director of the Technical Supervision Division. From 1998 to 2000, Deng worked as the editor and reporter of China Chemical Industry News. From 2000, Deng worked as the Deputy Secretary-general of CRIA and the chief editor of China Rubber Magazine, which is sponsored by CRIA. In 2010, she was elected to the Secretary-general of CRIA.
