Taozi (Theresa) is Founder of Taozi Tree Yoga. In Beijing she is well known for establishing the city’s most thriving yoga community through Yoga in the Park. She is a 500 E-RYT and has been teaching, and continuously studying for a decade. She has been featured in Yoga Journal, Yoga Digest, City Weekend, CCTV and more. With thousands of hours of teaching experience and certified with 1000+ hours of the highest quality Yoga Alliance trainings. Theresa loves simply sharing her love of yoga and views the practice as a bridge, connecting its practitioners together with love and feel-good vibes so together we can pass it on to others, helping to make the world a better place.
Shandré brings her heart into every class. She teaches fun, energetic and feel good vinyasa yoga classes. The way she conveys her message, whether the philosophy of yoga or the anatomy of a pose, makes you go deeper into your practice with a smile on your face. In savasana, you may be lucky to receive her marma point facial massage, enjoying deeper relaxation in this resting pose. Her knowledge of Ayurveda helps you find a more holistic practice, even after you have left your mat. Yoga with Shandré is a great way to find a balanced daily practice.
We are Taozi Tree Yoga, a yoga community in Sanlitun committed to being of service. We believe, “The seeds you water are the seeds that grow” and that dreams really can come true. Experienced yoga enthusiasts and beginners alike come together to water the right seeds, to enrich their sense of purpose and wellbeing, and spreading positivity throughout the city, and the world. There are daily small group classes (in English and Chinese) for all levels, including vinyasa flow, yoga for athletes, traditional hatha, yin, and restorative yoga.
