JingJobs Presents:

Building Your Personal Brand on a Global Scale

Developing your own personal brand is so important in the job world today. Your brand image not only portrays how you view yourself, but how you want employers to perceive you. Employers get a clear idea of your brand image whenever they pick up your resume, meet you at a networking event or even get a glimpse of your LinkedIn profile. Therefore, it is crucial to set yourself apart and understand your skillset and experiences.

Many have had the opportunity to live, work or study abroad for a period of time that has left a lasting impact on them. For professionals, this presents the question: "How do I incorporate my experiences abroad into building my brand image?" Each of us have had unique experiences around the globe that have in some way contributed to our professional development and it is important we use the skills and knowledge we learn to our advantage.

Some of the areas we expect to cover:

  • "What is personal branding?"
  • "How can I create a LinkedIn profile that best displays my brand image?"
  • "What do I have to offer in a city/country where everything is new and unfamiliar?"
  • "How can I set myself apart from others while working abroad?"
  • "Are your skills and experiences clearly represented in your brand image?"
  • "How do I incorporate my experiences abroad into building my personal brand?"
