The 5th Session of the 13th National People's Congress Standing Committee passed the revisions to the PRC Individual Income Tax (IIT) on 31 August 2018. This is the 7th revision to the PRC IIT Law. This reform involves many aspects and is considered as the most significant one since 1980. The new IIT law is a key milestone of the current IIT system.
