  • The Fourth Annual China and Globalization Forum will be held on May 20, 2018, following the annual board meeting of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG). CCG is a premier Chinese independent think tank dedicated to public policy oriented globalization studies. Since 2014, it has hosted the China and Globalization Forum annually in conjunction with its BOD meeting, which brought together the most prominent members of CCG Advisory Council – including its chair (Long Yongtu, former Vice Minister of the MOFCOM and former Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia) and co-chairs (He Yafei, former Vice Minister of the MFA; Ronni Chen, Chairman of Hang Lung Group), celebrated business leaders such as Wang Shi (founder of Vanke), James Liang (founder of Ctrip), and others. Each year, the convention has been a magnet for the most highly-regarded delegates from China’s government, expert, and business communities for dialogue and debate about the most pressing issues regarding the development of globalization and China’s role in it. The year 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China’s Reform and Opening-up program. The theme of the 2018 China and Globalization Forum is centered on China’s globalizing trajectories since 1978 and the challenges and prospects of the nation’s major domestic and international agenda ahead.
