Global Shaper at Beijing II HubOriginally from America (Omaha, NE to be specific), I've been based in Beijing for the past six years and work at the intersection of healthcare technologies and finance. Originally worked in basic and clinical research until I realized I enjoyed talking with people. This led to a four year journey that taught me how to network with a purpose and enjoy it as you go.
From meeting my oldest friend in China through a musician friend of mine to taking dozens of weekly inbound inquiries from MDs of large VC funds because of my appearance at a poker tournament to meeting a Nobel Prize shortlisted scientist due to a friend’s interest in Stoic philosophy, I have found this process to be one great learning experience. And if I can do it, then anyone can!
