In 2018, the first World Laureates Forum was held for the first time and it attracted global attention. 26 Nobel Laureates, 9 Wolf Prizes, Lasker Awards, Turing Awards, MacArthur Fellowship winners and other world-class academic award winners attended the conference.



In 2019, by the river of the Huangpu River, the World Laureates Forum will set sail again with greater scale. 70 world laureates have been invited, including 45 Nobel Laureates and Laureates of the Wolf Prize, the Lasker Award, the Turing Award, the MacArthur Fellowship and the Fields Medal. The forum will trace the core achievements of human science and technology in the past, and embrace the exciting future of human science and technology in the next past 100 years. The forum gathers the strongest brains and thought leaders to discuss the close relationship between scientific development and human destiny and to explore the peak of technology and the limits of the future, from human beings to the relationship between human beings and the universe, and from the common destiny of mankind to the common destiny of the universe.

Third, Forum Highlights


   The 2nd World Laureates Forum seeks innovation and change with multiple highlights.


  1、WLA Mobius ∞ Forum. The creativity comes from mathematical and philosophical concepts of infinity and limitless, ∞. 70 laureates will each speak for 3 minutes independently, introducing one-page PPT, and imagine and predict the form of the science, the universe and the human in the next 20 years. 70 laureates speak in eloquence, and 200 global scientists to listen and exchange with each other and to described the future of human technology. The Mobius Forum is a 70-scientific prophecy of the 70 world laureates, with a wide-open imagination to define the future.


   2、International "Big Science" Projects Strategic Dialogue. The International "Big Science" Projects are important means for human beings to open up the frontiers of knowledge, explore the unknown world and solve major global problems. More than 10 domestic and international strategic scientists will discuss continuously for 200 minutes, focusing on research areas that the international science and technology community generally concerned about, and that have a deep influence on the development of human society and the technological progress. They will promote new academic ideas, new scientific discoveries, new technological inventions and new directions in the industry in the collision of ideas.



   3、WLA Young Scientists Forum. More than 100 outstanding international young scientists will be selected to exchange with world laureates. They will showcase their achievements through multi-dimensional exhibitions such as independent speeches at the "5-P Forum", poster display, and tablecloth forums. The great mission of the Young Scientists Forum is to complete the ideological inheritance of the Nobel Laureates and the incubation and upgrading of young scientists, realizing the intergenerational inheritance of scientific thoughts, and letting the scientific and technological achievements of human beings come down in one continuous line, so that the light of human science will forever shine.


4、Eight Theme Forums. More than 60 laureates will do presentations in eight different forums, and more than 100 domestic academicians, and young scientists can freely choose one forum to join. The topics include artificial intelligence algorithms, new energy and new materials, brain science and neurodegenerative diseases, life sciences, new drug discovery and translational medicine, carbon-hydrogen bonds and novel chemistry, black hole and aerospace technology, economy and finance. The range of topics covers science in the fields of universe, space, photon, climate, energy, life, health, cells, genes, cancer, nerves, information, etc. These sciences mat change the future human destiny. We are focusing on the present, and looking forward to the future.
