What will you learn?
The programme is based on the international best-selling book "Complex Adaptive Leadership – Embracing paradox and uncertainty" (CAL) published in Chinese as "Future Leadership". The programme introduces Leadership 4.0, a new approach for leadership for a new age based on a new science:
· Leadership 1.0– the assumption for most development – leadership is done by leaders, downwards –is still necessary, but no longer sufficient….
· Leadership 2.0– the increasing organisational reality, needing more cross-boundary working and leadership going sideways and outwards as well.
· Leadership 3.0– the problem – as the world becomes more complex and uncertain, leaders no longer know the answers – so leadership also needs to go upwards from where the answers are, and leaders also need to lead when they do not know the solutions.
· Leadership 4.0– the solution – combining leaderships 1.0 and 2.0 and 3.0 in a dynamic, based on a new science for a new age – complexity science.
Our approach extends the view of leadership and changes leaders' mindset with a new and powerful approach.
Who will you meet among peer learners?
Participants who attend will be selected to ensure the right level of management experience ( country/regional level) and current role managing people and having strategic impact on business success of their companies. This will ensure learning quality as the face-to-face sessions are more like inter-active workshops than lectures!
Each cohort will number between 18 – 30.
