ShuÇao Mo is regional manager for Minerva Schools at KGI in East Asia and Oceania. She is in charge of making connections with other educational thought leaders in the region as well as selecting talented students for Minerva. A lifelong learner of philosophy of politics and art, ShuÇao received her bachelors and masters from Duke and Harvard University respectively. Prior to Minerva, she has worked in the last six years in such diverse areas as journalism, law, contemporary art, theater and fitness. As an artist, she has created social interventions in urban spaces in Beijing, Boston, New York, and Reykjavik. She has also taught feminist theory to young women in China.
Sunshine Studios founder Jerry Tse graduated in Robotics BSc and Manufacturing MSc before at 22 started street dancing. By 24 he danced in concerts, TV and taught internationally before opening schools all over the world.
The teachers and choreographers Sunshine Studios bring to work with their students are some of the worlds best and you will see them choreographing, dancing and artistic directing for artists such as Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Beyonce and movies such as Step Up franchises.
Sunshine’s dance students credits: Aladdin movie, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Fame musical, The Voice and more. His companies now develops arts towns and sports across China with major real estate companies such as Shenzhen Heng Mingzhu Investment Group, the Chinese government and Fifa.
Peggy Tse works at International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group. She structures and executes private equity and debt investments for manufacturing, agribusiness and services sectors in East Asia and the Pacific. Her deal experience has a strong focus on climate change mitigation and environmental sustainability.
In addition, Peggy is the Chief Strategy Officer of Future City Summit (FCS), a new-era non-profit that facilitates a public-private-social sector dialogue among young action leaders from 20+ emerging market economies in Asia, Africa and beyond. She has led FCS in the provision of development consulting services to bridge government and investor resources. Peggy also created a new venture arm at FCS that explores a millennial online media platform dedicated to the discussion of urban development issues with themes such as climate change mitigation in Asia, Greater Bay Area opportunities for youth, business knowledge exchange in the Korean peninsula, major investment drivers in South Asia and affordable housing development strategy in Nigeria.
Peggy has been a Global Shaper, an initiative of the World Economic Forum since 2017. She is the Project Development Lead at the Beijing II Hub in 2019. Prior to IFC, she was an equity product specialist at Goldman Sachs and sat on the Global Junior Advisory Board as well as the Asia Analyst & Associate Council in the division. Peggy also serves as a director at Health Impact Fund, a global non profit that promotes innovative health financing via pay-for-performance and access to medicines for all. She was awarded as an "Empower Women" Champion in China, under an initiative by the UN Women.
Jonas Wolf, a startup enthusiast for 10+ years, started his first business while in university. In China Jonas evangelized he co-working industry for naked Hub (acquired by WeWork). Since then he leads the APAC region for AngelHack using his creative and strategic mindset to help
clients reach their objective through innovative solutions. AngelHack is a global innovation agency offering hackathons, innovation consulting, community building and an acceleration program.
