Since August 2018, Jens Hildebrandt is heading the Delegation of German Industry & Commerce Beijing as Delegate & Chief Representative and Managing Director of the German Chamber of Commerce in North China. He studied Political Science and Sinology in Leipzig, Beijing and Hong Kong and completed an MBA. Since 2007 Jens Hildebrandt has held various management positions in the network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), i.e. as Head of the East Asia Department in Berlin and later as Delegate & Chief Representative of German Industry & Commerce in Guangzhou.
Mr. Michael Haendel is the Corporate SCM Head for Siemens in China and Asia Australia since April 2019. In this role he is responsible for indirect materials and services, pooled directed materials, cost and value engineering and processes incl. digitalization and sustainability.
With more than 20 years of SCM experience, Michael was responsible for the direct material pooling organization at Siemens and was 8 years the CPO of Draegerwerke AG, besides other SCM management position in Germany and in the US.
Tina Ji is Supply Chain Sustainability Manager for the region Asia-Australia covering Greater China, Korea, Australia, Singapore and ASEAN countries. In her role, she oversees SCM Sustainability topics and drives Sustainable Procurement Agenda while contributing to the company’s global SCM mission. She developed sustainability roadmaps and established sustainability network for the region. Prior to this role, Tina has been working at Siemens for seven years and gained in depth expertise in different commodity management areas.
Lutz Berners has over twenty years’ China experience in various roles. As trusted advisor to both German and Chinese entrepreneurs, multinationals and governments, he enables teams from both countries to expand their activities to other continents. He has a special focus on electric mobility and sustainable & responsible sourcing, using a partnership-based approach. Mr. Berners holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Yale University and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Princeton University. He speaks fluent German, English, and Mandarin Chinese. He lives with his wife and two children in Friedrichshafen.
Chunxi Liu went to Leeds University Business School and finished her master degree, majoring in Financial Investment and graduated with distinction. Since 2015, she worked as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte. Before joining the Integrity and Compliance Department at VWATJ, she worked in various Risk Management functions.
