Verena Weinzierl (Executive Manager at Ventum Consulting China)

Verena Weinzierl

Executive Manager at Ventum Consulting China

Born in Germany into a family of entrepreneurs, Verena Weinzierl early understood that a distinct business background will be a solid basis for future things to come. Hence, while studying business in Germany, Switzerland and Australia, she gained significant industry and management experience in various corporate functions while at the same time realizing, that IT & Tech will become her field of choice. With an international background and strong communication skills, Verena found her strength in handling the complex interface between business and IT where every technology decision and every change in IT requires solid concepts, business cases as well as management decisions.
Although briefly engaging in the field of actual development, she always thrived towards consulting and project management related to IT/Tech, especially: requirements engineering, SW testing, Risk and Rollout Management, staff training on new SW, business case development and architecture planning.
For the last four years she has been working as Executive Manager with Ventum Consulting China (a Munich based IT/Management Consultancy) and in parallel successfully started a non-tech startup (“HomesickBox”) delivering the cozy feeling of home to Expats and Locals here in Asia.
