Roy Cheung is currently the global head of Sustainability Solutions in the Polycarbonates business unit at Covestro, a material science company and one of the largest manufacturers of polycarbonate, a type of polymer with wide applications in various industries including mobility, electronics, healthcare, constructions etc. In his role, Roy focuses on driving internally towards the new company-wise “fully circular” vision, externally collaborating and providing material solutions for different industries to fulfill their circularity or sustainability goals. These collaborations and solutions include close loop recycling, upcycling of post-consumer waste, circular design, renewable raw materials etc. He’s also involved in various innovation projects looking into solving the sustainability challenges using innovative technologies. Roy was born in Hong Kong, spent several years in Taipei, and currently based in Shanghai.

Veronika is the Manager for Social Responsibility at the German Chamber of Commerce | Shanghai, overseeing the CSR initiative More than a Market. After completing her bachelor's degree in literature and media studies at the LMU Munich, she has gained over six years of work experience in agencies, four of which she was working in the leading global brand experience agency AVANTGARDE in Berlin and in China, consulting and producing events for clients such as Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. Since relocating to Shanghai in 2017, she's been involved with several NGO's and NPO's, such as Shanghai Sunrise and Chi Fan for Charity, organizing fundraising and community events.
