Workshop IT: “Blockchain – Deliver Boundless Collaboration for Intelligent Enterprise”

Ahmet Tombul is the managing director from Vauman Shanghai. Vauman is an interactive agency specialized in web and mobile solutions. The team at Vauman designs and develops WeChat solutions and mini programs, iOS and Android apps, corporate websites and shop applications for clients in China and abroad. Ahmet lives in Shanghai since more than 13 years and comes originally from Berlin, Germany. He is married and has two kids.

Phipps is driving the strategic partnership and focusing on areas like IoT/Industrie 4.0/Blockchain in SAP Labs China, the 3rd largest of Labs in SAP. In this role, he builds platforms to bridge between SAP’s China R&D teams and external ecosystem including government associations, think-tanks, partners and customers.

Since joined SAP in 2003, Phipps has gained extensive experience in leading end-to-end development of SAP’s flagship ERP product for Small-and-Medium Enterprise with teams from multiple countries. He later moved to take charge of global business operation of SAP Globalization Services HCM team consisting of development teams in eight countries. Phipps graduated from University of Manchester and received MBA degree from Manchester Business School.
