China's startup scene is growing, and it's growing fast. Young professionals are faced with extensive pros and cons when choosing to work between the two. Do you want a readily available support system, or do you want autonomy? Will certain personalities better fit one environment over the other? And most of all, which one will take you where you want to go?

To answer these questions and more, JingJobs is bringing you an interactive panel of experienced professionals from both business circles together in an engaging argument. Our hope is that you'll learn about the benefits and downsides of working for either. Be ready to hear about several different aspects of these two positions in the business world, from working environment, to business models, to possible future pathways gained from both sides.

Example questions that may be asked:

  • Each type of organization has a business model that works for them; for example, startups tend to rely on execution-type models while corporations have the resources to execute hypothesis-testing models. Which do you think is more effective in China's current business scene?
  • A lot of people are afraid of joining a startup because of the instability and probability of failure. Can you speak about the probability? Is it actually high? Does an established company actually provide a safety net? What are the advantages of such a support system?

We hope you can join us in learning more about the industry through our speakers. All are welcome! When signing up for tickets, please suggest questions you'd like to hear asked.
