Cross Border Data Transfer Roundtable (In Chinese)

SwissCham Shanghai is pleased to extend an invitation for you to join our event, the "Cross Border Data Transfer Roundtable." This event aims to facilitate knowledge sharing on compliance practices in data transfer.

In recent years, the Chinese government has introduced various laws and regulations to enhance data security, including the Data Security Law and the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL). The recent release of the "Standards and Measures for the Transmission of Personal Information" further emphasizes the significance of data compliance.

Data compliance involves managing and utilizing data in accordance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards. It encompasses protecting personal privacy, ensuring data security, and adhering to legal and compliance requirements. Compliance with data regulations is a crucial obligation for businesses, as it helps safeguard personal privacy, enhance corporate reputation, and mitigate legal risks. By familiarizing themselves with applicable regulations, establishing robust compliance management systems, and providing comprehensive employee training, enterprises can effectively fulfill their data compliance obligations and maintain the legality and sustainability of their data processing activities.

SwissCham Shanghai has invited the following legal experts to a roundtable discussion on this topic:
