We cordially invite you to participate in the 13th VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Sector China Management Meeting ("CMM") on November 13th in Jiaxing.

The VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Sector China Management Meeting is an exclusive gathering designed to gather C‑level executives from member companies to discuss and exchange views on the current business situation, key industry topics and the latest market trends.

The CMM will host exchanges and discussions under the theme "Innovation for Sustainable & Circular Packaging – Insights from China". It will cover the green upgrade of the packaging industry, application of circular packaging technologies, policy impacts and market opportunities, benchmark domestic and international practices, and jointly explore cooperation avenues for sustainable packaging machinery.

VDMA食品加工和包装机械分会中国管理层会议旨在汇聚来自会员企业的高管，共同讨论和交流聚焦我们行业的业务现状，共同关注的话题或最新趋势。

会议将围绕"以创新推动可持续与循环包装发展——中国视野"的主题展开交流与讨论，探讨包装产业绿色升级、循环包装技术应用、相关政策影响与市场商机，对标海内外实践经验，共探可持续包装装备领域的合作方向。

Jiaxing Economic and Technological Development Zone (JXEDZ) is located in the main urban area of Jiaxing City.  It is a typical urban development zone and also an important platform for the development of Jiaxing's advanced manufacturing industry, modern service industry and urbanization. 

Up to now, the zone has introduced 810 foreign-invested enterprises from 45 countries and regions including South Korea, Japan, Europe, the United States, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The Exhibition Hall serves as a key gateway and an official reception venue for the Jiaxing Economic and Technological Development Zone (JXEDZ), showcasing the zone's development journey, spatial planning, industrial layout, and investment environment to overseas visitors and investors.

The hall systematically reviews the major achievements made since the zone's establishment in 1992 and its subsequent designation as a national-level economic and technological development zone. The exhibitions cover the area's geographical advantages, comprehensive transportation networks, territorial spatial framework, the "3+3" modern industrial system, key industrial platforms, urban renewal achievements, and future development blueprint.

As a strategic partner for interpack, the world‑renowned trade fair for food processing and packaging machinery, VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Sector (VDMA NuV) put forward three key hot‑topic priorities at interpack China 2026: Smart Manufacturing, Innovative Materials and Future Skills, which has resonated strongly and received positive feedback across the global industry.

Meanwhile, the EU Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPWR) entered into full force on 12 August 2026. Provisions including heavy‑metal limit values, restrictions on PFAS in food‑contact packaging, design‑for‑recycling requirements, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) registration, and declaration of conformity have all moved into mandatory enforcement.

These regulatory developments place unprecedented demands on formulation R&D for packaging materials as well as process adaptation of packaging machinery. Against this backdrop of regulatory transformation, coupled with the rapidly‑evolving competitive landscape of China's food processing and packaging sector, we believe this is the ideal moment to convene key decision‑makers for high‑level cross‑value‑chain dialogue.

德国机械设备制造业联合会-食品加工与包装机械分会（VDMA NuV）作为全球知名的食品加工与包装机械杜塞尔多夫博览会的战略单位，在interpack China 2026年提出聚焦于三大热点议题："智能制造、创新材料与未来技能"，在全球行业内引发了强烈共鸣和积极反响。

与此同时，欧盟《包装与包装废弃物法规》（PPWR） 已于2026年8月12日正式全面生效，重金属限值、食品接触包装中PFAS限制、可回收性设计要求、生产者延伸 责任（EPR）注册以及符合性声明等条款均已进入强制执行阶段。

上述法规动态对包装材料的配方研发和包装机械的工艺适配均提出了前所未有的要求。在法规变革的大背景下，加之中国食品加工与包装行业竞争格局正加速演变，我们认为，当下正是召集关键决策者开展跨价值链高层对话的最佳时机。
